Dear colleagues,
It is sometimes said (at least in "creative" communities) that "art"/
the artist/artistic work sheds new lights on the potential use of
technological innovation, takes it out of the lab, suggests new use.
It is one of the reasons that is put forward in order to support art/
science collaboration.
I am wondering on how effective this is. I am not really concerned
here by e.g. the fact that some artists play with biosciences or
virtual reality, but by how effective this play has been in creating
new uses/new products/new services etc.
Any story is welcome, as long as there is evidence behind.
Best regards,
Jean
