medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I ran into this while working on Juan de Torquemada. His critique of
Agostino Favaroni concerned in part whether you can run the church with
knowledge known only to God.
My usual start spot for understanding of the concept of church in that
period is:
*Ecclesia in via;*
*ecclesiological developments in the medieval Psalms exegesis and the
Dictata super Psalterium (1513-1515) of Martin Luther,*
Scott H *Hendrix*
1974
*English* Book Book x, 297 p. 25 cm.
