Dear colleagues,
I am sending this email to inform you about a small-scale research project
which
will be taking part at the LILAC conference in Cardiff. Postgraduate
librarianship students from the University of Sheffield will be present during
the lunch break of the Tuesday session to distribute questionnaires asking the
following question:
What book, article or web resource do you think has been the most inspirational
for your teaching and learning philosophy?
Responses to this question will be categorised and collated in an annotated
bibliography of the choices of conference attendees. The report is also
assessed as part of the 'Information Literacy Research' module on the MA
librarianship programme.
Please note: If you would prefer to complete the questionnaire electronically,
there will the opportunity to provide e-mail addresses at the conference.
We would be very grateful if you could assist us with our research. We hope the
survey will be of use to conference attendees as well as beneficial for our own
studies.
Apologies if this email is not relevant to anyone who is not attending the
LILAC
conference.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this message, and I very much hope that
my colleague, George Davies, can gather your responses at the conference next
week.
Kind regards,
David Brown
MA Librarianship student, University of Sheffield
