We've just received a green urine from a patient who was administered methylene blue intraoperatively.
Does anyone know if methylene blue interferes with the pyrogallol red assay for urine protein?
n.b. The patient discharged himself before we could get a methylene blue-free sample, so the question is somewhat academic.
