However, this query results in sensible info (resource instead of SITE NAME):

mds-vo-name=resource,o=grid
Maybe someone who has updates packages recently can check contents of these:
/opt/bdii/etc/bdii-update.conf
/opt/glite/etc/gip/site-urls.conf
