medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to invite you to subscribe to the Tabula Gratulatoria of "ESSAYS IN
HONOUR OF SHEILA DELANY," co-edited by Christa Canitz and Andrew Taylor and
forthcoming as a special issue of Florilegium, the journal of the Canadian Society
of Medievalists/Société canadienne des médiévistes. Subscribers will receive the
book at a special pre-publication price of $30 (instead of the regular $35), and
their names will be listed in the Tabula Gratulatoria. The volume is scheduled to
appear in December. For ordering information (and how to include your name in the
Tabula Gratulatoria), please see the end of this message.
In 2006, Sheila Delany retired from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia. To
mark her outstanding contributions to medieval studies, the Canadian Society of
Medievalists is pleased to offer this special issue of its journal Florilegium. The
thirteen articles drawn together in the present volume have been prepared in her
honour by colleagues and friends from North America, Europe, and Israel. The
articles, which are listed below, reflect the wide range of Professor Delany's
research. Readers of this Festschrift will appreciate the resonance of her work
over the course of a long and distinguished career.
