Yes I would be interested in that too. I do know we have both extremes
in the UK federation - the use of a local federation to provide access
to resources, and in other cases the use of the UK federation to offer
federated access to those same resources.
I'd certainly be interested to hear from those people that have already
given some thought as to how they intend to offer access to their
'local' resources.
