medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

> p. 43, no. 130: “Neuedition [of a letter of Alexander III] durch Ludwig
Falkenstein in Vorbereitung (aus Briefsammlung des Erzbishofs Heinrich von
Reims, Arras, Bibl. Mun., cod. 964…”)
however, the description in the relevant
Catalogue général des manuscrits des bibliothčques publiques des
départements... IV, 1877, p. 382
(conveniently --more or less-- avialble on
http://books.google.com/books?id=PgYDAAAAYAAJ&printsec=titlepage#PPA382,M1)
describes it as a 16th c. folio volume from St. Vedast of 187 feuillets,
primarily consisting of "Praelectiones M. Arnoldi a Mechlinia in Physica
Aristotelis," with no mention whatever of anything which might be a
"Briefsammlung des Erzbishofs Heinrich von Reims."
nor even of a "Sog. Reimser Papstregister," as (at least a part of) it was
described in Rudolf Hiestand, Papsturkunden für Kirchen im Heiligen Lande
(Göttingen, 1985), pp. 365, 393.
i am loath to ascribe an error to either Grosse or Hiestand (much less to them
both --the chances of that approach Zero much too rapidly), but assume that
the 1877 catalogue description (which is rather lengthy, but only mentions
this Aristotelian-related work) is simply incomplete.
is anyone perchance familiar with this ms., or know of anywhere i might find a
more detailed description of it?
with thanks,
c
