Dear Colleagues,
Firstly, apologies for cross-posting.
I have been asked to circulate the following which may be of interest to you.
All good wishes,
Olive
Harmonising teaching and training in evidence-based medicine (EBM) is a challenge. A European Union funded project aims to develop distance learning courses using e-learning for (a) teaching EBM and (b) teaching trainers how to teach EBM.
Important outputs from this project are available at http://www.ebm-unity.org/ . The project publications have been highly accessed and can be found at http://www.biomedcentral.com/1472-6920/7/46 and http://www.biomedcentral.com/1472-6920/8/27 .
Please browse these resources and contribute your ideas to the development of this field.

I would really appreciate this if you could send this out to as many lists as you have (could I also possibly have the names of these lists as i'm sure my professor will ask). Once again, thank you so much
Kind Regards

Dear Gemma,
We limit membership of the CEBM-members email network to those who have attended our courses on EBM.
However, I should be more than happy to sent to the list any information you would like to forward to me regarding your courses.
I am list owner on a number of other email lists and would be happy to forward on to them also.
The information must be in a text form as we agree not to send attachments to any of the lists.
All good wishes,
Olive

Hi Olive, allow me to introduce myself - my name is Gemma Barnfield and I am the EBM Research Fellow at Birmingham University. We are runing a European Union funded project that aims to develop distance learning courses using e-learning for (a) teaching EBM and (b) teaching trainers how to teach EBM.
We are currenctly looking into advertising our project to inform key professionals of its opurpose and aims - I am loooking into advertising this on key listserves relevant to Evidence Based Medicine and I wondered if you have any contacts relevant to this or if you have a listserve direct to the Centre for Evidence Based Medicine. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for filling out the questionnaire I sent out to you.
I look forward to hearing from you
Kind Regards
Gemma Barnfield
