Exciting new Masters Degree at Nottingham Trent University
MA Human Security and Environmental Change
Summary
Studying the programme will enable you to develop your understanding of the relationship between (global and local) environmental change and human security, and of how risk and change management are addressed.
Introduction
For too long environmental change has been divorced from human security and has been analysed academically, as a scientific issue alone. The pace of recent change emphasises the need to analyse environmental change within the wider contexts. You will develop a detailed knowledge and critical understanding of the concepts and techniques involved in environmental change and human security, and the application of these to specific forms of analysis and practice, and to solving problems.
