Hi Frankie,
We might be able to put in the collection name as dc:subject for each item. I'll have a look. The database view used for the search has a limited set of fields, for speed, so full subject keywords aren't possible at the moment. Object name, from Mimsy, is available so could be published as dc:type.
We're using the PNDS application profile (http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/pns/pndsdcap/) as a guide for fields to use in extending basic RSS.
