BIBLIO-INFO-SOCIEDAD press release
<http://mx.groups.yahoo.com/group/biblio-info-sociedad/>

Dear colleagues,

Due to a vast convergence in the ideas of unhampered freedom of expression
for the critical debate towards the free, free of charge, communal,
democratic and egalitarian access to information recorded in documents,
the mailing list BIBLIO-INFO-SOCIEDAD,
<http://mx.groups.yahoo.com/group/biblio-info-sociedad/> a mailing list
created and managed (but not moderated) by Zapopan Martin Muela Meza (*)
since 21 November 2003, will receive, as host in merging from today
onwards, the PROINFOROMX mailing list, created and managed by Jose Antonio
Torres Reyes (**) since 26 September 2001. From today and until the
merging process is finished PROINFOROMX will disappear as such and all of
its members will be included in BIBLIO-INFO-SOCIEDAD.

With this merging BIBLIO-INFO-SOCIEDAD reinforces its aims as conceived
since the beginning, as being the best worldwide platform in Spanish
language to discuss and debate without moderation and with heated spirit
all the critical and hot issues within or around the world of information
recorded in documents, libraries, and society, but above all from a
radical, critical, and realist perspective and more led towards the ideas
of political liberation of information recorded in documents and the
political liberation of the dominated social classes in constant
resistance against the oppressive dominant classes and the oppressors of
information within and out the world of information recorded in documents
(like all of those philistine, bourgois, neoliberal, neoconservative holy
cows, paper tiger logographers of capitalism who believe themselves the
masters of the universe, who populate in their ad hoc mailing lists
apocriphously moderated at national and international levels and who do
not do anything but to censor the human right to the unhampered freedom of
expression and access to information which had been torn up from the
dominating classes through sweet and blood in their historic fights
against the dominant tyrannies since these invented the social classes for
their exclusive benefit)

Welcome to BIBLIO-INFO-SOCIEDAD!!!

"Some men, faint-hearted, ever seek
...
will insist, whene’er they speak
That we demand too much.
’Tis passing strange, yet I declare
Such statements give me mirth,
For our demands most moderate are,
We only want the Earth.
...
For labour long, with sighs and tears,
To its oppressors knelt.
...
And our victorious rallying cry
Shall be: we want the Earth!"

-- James Connolly, Marxist Scotsman founder of the Irish Socialist
Republican Party,
1907, poem "We only want the Earth"
<http://www.marxists.org/archive/connolly/1907/xx/wewnerth.htm>

"Let's everyone take a walk
in red wine and verse
rising the realms
of bread and truth
Let's everyone take a walk
killing egotism
thus for the same reason
friendship can revive
Let's everyone take a walk
sinking the powerful
arising the lazy
adding everybody else
Let's everyone take a walk
with all the flags
loomed in such a way
that there is no room for solitude
Let's everyone take a walk
thus we can arrive
to life"

-- Silvio Rodriguez, Cuban singer of socialist revolutionary chant, song
"Vamos a andar" (Let's everyone take a walk)

Cordially,

your colleague

Zapopan Muela

on behalf of the BIBLIO-INFO-SOCIEDAD team

"Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights."
