An op-ed in the Washington Times derided EBM as "one-size-fits-all," while
using a definition of EBM that few on this list would recognize.
The op-ed is here:
http://washingtontimes.com/article/20080415/COMMENTARY/167030864/1012
I criticized it on our Health Care Renewal blog here:
http://hcrenewal.blogspot.com/2008/04/what-influenced-derision-of-evidence.html
The writer of the op-ed was identified as president of a
not-for-profit. The organization's industry funding was not revealed, nor
was the writer's day job as a vice president for health care of a PR firm
with multiple pharma accounts.
Maybe the op-ed deserves some further response than what I wrote.
