Dear mailbase
We measure HbA1c using the BioRad Variant II in our laboratory and the Siemens DCA at POC and we are considering replacing these. We have had the following analysers in for evaluation:
BioRad Variant Turbo, Tosoh G8, Menarini HA-8160 Evolution, Axis Shield Afinion and BioRad in2it.
When on short-term trial it is hard to assess the reliability of the analyser and the support from the manufacturer. If anyone could share their longer-term experiences with these analysers, particularly if you’ve had any problems, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
