A current example would be Soderbergh's The Good German with original
newsreel footage cut into the fictional dramatic narrative.
For the nonfiction>fiction opposite, think of films made under
conditions of censorship which had to disguise the "truth" as "make
believe" or, in a comic vein, Borat.
