John, we understand your point of view but this all does have a significant bearing on the preservation of and future presentation of Mining History in the Tamar Valley and beyond.
This is about much more than the politics - there are real issues that need to be addressed and we aim to hold the Morwellam and Tamar Valley Trust and Morwellham Quay to account in relation to the issues being raised.
Further, while we know it is to be short lived, the discussion list is exactly the right place for these views to be aired. It will stimulate discussion off list and like it or not drives traffic to our site.
On a final note - as long as people stop slinging names and insults we will keep it all nice and polite -if not expect to get a metaphorical slap.

Dear All,
This is going far beyond the pale. It doesn't matter who started this,
it has now gone far far too far. This is a mining history site. There
may be problems at Morewellham, but these are not history as I
understand it, and this is not the place to air them.
Forgive my writing, not my usual response, but this has exceeded the
limits of the list and good manners. Please stop it - now!
Best wishes
John
