Hi all, Festive greetings.
Did anyone see 'Silent Light' and the new Sidney Lumet film?
'Silent Light' reminded me of a strand we had a while ago about 'slow films', Reygadas seems to understand the manner in which the
shot, held, can reveal so much, there is a real sense of space and form in his films. This one especially draws the emotion from
the image and lays it before us. Like Dryer we SEE the human face
wonderful and as good a christmas present as there could be
peace
to all
