An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Statistician to join a research team working on survival data modelling. The job involves developing models for human survival (lifetime) data, validating such models, and developing predictions of survival curves across covariate groups. Experience with SPSS, SAS and/or R would be an advantage together with experience of SQL for extraction of large datasets. The work is likely to require non-standard modelling techniques and will present interesting technical challenges. The position is based near Glasgow, within a large financial services company, and has a salary in the range £30-£40k depending on experience. If interested, please forward your CV.
