medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
The short answer is, imagine that you live, as do we live in the
fraternity-sorority neighborhood of the University of Washington in
Seattle. We call the police several times a week because of drinking,
broken bottles, vomiting, urination, fighting, etc. And these are
students under supervision.
