Re: Human exposure to Dioxins/Furans
Dear all,
I have a patient who believes she may have been exposed to excessive Dioxins
in her local environment recently. She has requested measurement (and is
willing to pay) of her 'Dioxin levels', but I have been unable to track down
any laboratory in the UK that offers this in human samples. Several lab.s
will measure TEQ's of Dioxin in soil/fish/ash etc.. , but none seem to offer
assessment of human exposure. I have heard that there may be such a service
in the Netherlands, but have been unable to track down the lab so far. Does
anyone know of a lab offering Dioxins in human samples, within about
800-900miles of Berkshire?
Many thanks,
Ian Walker
