EBM Page Generator Developed
Medical librarians from Yale and Dartmouth have announced the
development of a form-based tool that enables the quick creation of an
annotated Web page of locally available evidence-based (EBM) resources,
complete with links from an evidence hierarchy pyramid. Using the EBM
Page Generator, librarians can select the resources that they want on
their page from the Resource Database (which includes descriptions and
definitions). They can also add their own resources or edit the ones
that are already listed. After selecting titles, the created page can
be previewed and edited, its code can be exported to the appropriate
Website, and, finally, it can be posted to the Website. The tool is
freely available; check it out at www .ebmpyramid.org. Please email
comments to Janis Glover, AHIP or Karen Odato.
