medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Does anyone know what R.W. Pfaff, writing in 1968, can have meant by:
"Unfortunately the current revision of Wilkins [Concilia Magnae Brittanniae
et Hiberniae, 1737] extends at present only to 1313."? He surely cannot
have meant Haddan & Stubbs (1869-71) nor Gerald Bray's Records of
Convocation (2005-6). It is doubly mysterious, because the Records of the
Convocation of Canterbury only commence in 1313!
