This conference for the first time in the African Continent is the
latest in a series of highly successful Conferences organised since 1995
by Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. The Information,
Knowledge and Systems research group in the School of Computing,
Engineering and Information Sciences is pleased to announce its seventh

Twenty-one colleges and universities from South Africa have participated
in LibQUAL+^ since 2005, collecting data from over 14,000 users. Five
of these institutions implemented surveys in both Afrikaans and British
English. Anyone interested in learning more about how LibQUAL+ has
been used in these settings, come to this Workshop on the morning of
