Dear colleagues,
I am writing to ask if you would draw the following advert for a research fellow to your colleagues' and students' attention.
In conjunction with several colleagues in Leeds, York and London, I have a grant to research the governance of NHS Foundation Trusts in England and am now recruiting an RF to undertake the field work for the southern English part of the study. I would be keen to recruit someone who wants to use the study to write a PhD.

We are seeking a researcher for a post that provides an excellent opportunity for the successful applicants to be involved in a study of the governance of NHS Foundation Trust hospitals. The study is funded by the NHS Service Delivery and Organisation R&D Programme.
Applicants must have at least an MSc (or equivalent) in economics, socio-legal studies, other social science or related discipline with a substantial qualitative research methods component. This post is full-time for 30 months.
The applicant should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and some experience of undertaking research. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team and will primarily be engaged in carrying primarily be engaged in carrying out two case studies of governance in two NHS Foundation Trust hospitals using a range of qualitative methods.
The salaries will be on the Research Fellow scale, £31,594 - £33,115 (Grade 6) per annum inclusive, depending on qualifications and experience.
