Research Associate in Public Health Policy
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in Public
Health Policy to commence by October 2007 (Research Grade 6 - £21,050 -
£25,889 p.a.). Candidates must hold (or be near to completion) a PhD or
equivalent doctorate degree in public health or a social science
discipline. Located in the Centre for Public Policy and Health
(http://www.dur.ac.uk/public.health/), the successful candidate will
contribute to the Centre’s growing research portfolio on the impact of
politics and policies on the social determinants of health and health
inequalities. In the first year, there will be a particular emphasis on
research into work, worklessness and health. This is a fixed term post for
3 years. Closing date 16th April.
