The next PSCO session, co-sponsored by Penn’s Jewish Studies Program, will be
with Daniel Boyarin (University of California at Berkeley) on Thursday, April
12, 2007. The title of his presentation is
"From Redaction Criticism to Intertextuality: Daniel 7 and the Son of Man."
In preparation for the talk, Professor Boyarin recommends the following material:
Daniel 7. 1 Enoch 14. 1 Enoch 37-71. Gospels of Mark and Matthew
As usual, we will gather at the University of Pennsylvania in Logan Hall (2nd
floor lounge) at 6 pm for an informal dinner in the nearby Food Court, and then
meet back in the Logan Hall Lounge for Professor Boyarin’s presentation.
