medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
In Father Ambrose's icon Cyricus is shown (as frequently) as considerably smaller in size than Julitta. A depiction of the two of them in which they are of approximately equal stature occurs at the King's Church at Gracanica in the early fourteenth-century frescoes of the large north wall. Here Cyricus is shown as a young man rather than as a boy:
