We have a similar slot in the corporate induction
We have 6 minutes to talk on DP/FoI/(c)/RM and so our talk is to consist
of the basics so for example, for DP we're plannint to say "Data
Protection governs the way we manage personal information and so if you
manage personal information, you really should get in touch with us or
come on one of our our courses.
We'll be handing out useful and comprehensive handouts too.

Subject: Records Management 'content' for Corporate Inductions
Just a quick one....
Our team has had a twenty minute slot on the Corporate Induction Day for
some time and content includes the usual suspects - FOI/DP/EIR,
Copyright, etc. It has recently been suggested that Records Management
should be incorporated into this and the time slot is a whole five
minutes!
Was wondering what thoughts people have on the message we should be
trying to give out seeing as the audience is essentially newbies.
I'm not entirely convinced that we can cover what we need to within such
a short time.
AS always thoughts/suggestions welcome!
Best regards
