Applications are invited for one full-time and one part-time position in
science radio production at the Cambridge-based Naked Scientists.
The Naked Scientists produce two weekly live science radio shows, which
are broadcast by the BBC eastern region and podcasted worldwide. We also
produce a weekly podcast for Nature magazine and work regularly with BBC
Radio Five Live and ABC Radio National, Australia. Our output has a strong
web presence at www.thenakedscientists.com, which also provides
opportunities for science writing and web design.
Applicants should have a good first degree, preferably in a science
subject. They will also need to be highly organised, able to work both
independently and in a small team, be passionate about science and have a
good sense of humour.
Preferred (but not essential) skills include:
- radio production experience
- audio editing experience
- radio and / or TV presenting skills

* The funds for full time post are available until 31st July 2008. The
