In the Hereford Calendar, a Principal feast with nine lessons.
I'm not totally convinced about Purification, Annunciation, Assumption and
Nativity forming a set. In the Hereford calendar, three of them are
Principal feasts, with the Annunciation only a Double feast. In the Sarum
calendar, with more gradation, the Assumption is a Principal double feast,
Purification and Nativity are Major double feasts, whereas the Annunciation
is a Minor double feast (as is the Conception).
