Hi Chris,
I'm a bit out of date, since not longer working as an archaeologist, but
you should look up excavation reports and other publications from
Konztanz (Germany).
As far as I remenber, a few leftovers from bead production were found
there - not much, just a few hundred kilos of bone plates ... ;-))
and I know that some major thesis was written on them...
If you're in trouble finding references I could ask arch-de (the German
archaeology list).
