"sociorumque ejus" solves any uncertainty :-)
A quick check of Saints of the Day in the list archives will show that
the usual convention is to furnish a date in parentheses after the
saint(s)' name(s)'. It was Phyllis' practice, and it's mine when I post
notices under this heading, sometimes to substitute a question mark for
the date when it's unknown when the saint(s) in question really lived.
How "sociorumque ejus" would solve that uncertainty escapes me.
Best again,
John Dillon
