The closest parallel seems to be "Buccinate in neomenia tuba", which was set
by Giovanni Croce, Giovanni Gabrieli and Heinrich Schutz - it seems to be a
Venetian thing! "Iubilemus exultemus" is either modelled on that, or is a
similar paraliturgical work by the same author (Croce himself?) The sources
seem to be fragments of psalms, other Biblical passages, liturgical and
paraliturgical pieces. (E.g. "Iubilemus, exultemus / intoneus canticum /
redemptori, plasmatori / savatori omnium! - a 12th-century Aquitanian
piece!)
