Definitely. They regretted it mainly because, despite what they though
they were doing, the Ern Malley poems remain perhaps the best work
either of them did. Which is why they, not poems by either man, are in
Tranter & Mead's anthology, a conclusion to their hoax they never
dreamed of, even in their worst nightmares...., & a fitting one, too
