That's exactly right and shows how provincial it all is. No attention given to poetry written right now (or for the last forty years) in the UK, Ireland etc, etc, with the exception of a few names by any of the usual suspects in the US.
Yeah, there is "Jacket" but still the concerns here are provincial.

KJ is often a most interesting phenomenon, taken at a distance and in small
doses... Those of us outside the politics of US poetry - across the Pacific,
for example - might be permitted a delivate yawn now and again, however...I
mean, what with the post avants and the quietists and those who are ignored
by either side, _nobody_ talks about us, unless like the tragic Mr Malley we
don't exist. But so be it.
