Dear Alan,
Deeply sorry to learn of your sad condition. However, may I advise
you to simply let the disease run its course (which it will
eventually do), and do nothing about it? Sufferers generally
find that this is the most acceptable treatment. The condition
is by definition self-limiting (the victim doesn't give a ****).
So enjoy.
However, I am more perturbed by evidence of complications in
the form of AHD (Anomalous Hyperactivity Disorder), since you
have bothered to write to us about it. This is rare in true
MoDeD, and is cause for concern. However, quite possibly you
may not be concerned at all, especially if your AHD is transient.
Nevertheless, I am sure that someone has a drug for this too,
just in case you're bothered.
With all best wishes for a prolobged recovery,
Ted.
