medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Julian,
Although the book concentrates on the twelfth-century,
Constable's "The Reformation of the Twelfth Century" has an
incredible discussion of both rhetoric and vocabulary, as
well as a wealth of material in its bibliography. Also, the
should be compared to the the much underapprecitaed work
found in Morrison's "The Mimetic Tradition of Reform in the
West."
Best,
Daniel
