It may not be a good idea to assume that in such matters local or
particular use and general use are identical. _Campanilismo_ is not
entirely an ultramontane tendency :-)
None of this, though, speaks to my query about the rationale for
celebrating W. on 19. January when his _dies natalis_ is (now) said to
have been 20. January.
