We are currently looking into running a pilot collection of PS2 games in a
library currently undergoing refurbishment, following suggestions from local
teenagers. There doesn't appear to be much competition locally, no
Blockbuster for example. No doubt many other authorities have already
looked at this, but until this point in time, it has never been a viable
initiative for us. I would be hugely grateful to anyone who could share any
information about setting a service up, in particular investment, marketing,
targets, practical information on issues, charges etc. We are also aware
that there are alternatives, X-box and whatever, and in the future PS3
games. Has anyone selected an alternative format over PS2, or has anyone
decided to hang fire and introduce PS3 instead when it is released?
I'm more than happy to share any information with list members.
thank you
David
