List members may be interested in an episode of Radio 4's Shop Talk,
broadcast this afternoon.
The programme discusses the importance of Web 2.0 and, about 20-25 minutes
in, I get to say a (little!) bit about libraries.
The interesting point, I think, is that Radio 4 even thought to approach a
library company about this. AND I gave them the introductions to at least
one (two, if you count the right way) of their other guests...
The programme is available for play-back from the Shop Talk site at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/news/shoptalk/, where you'll also find a link to
my Ariadne paper from last year.
For those who are really keen, the Talis white paper on the topic is more
relevant
(http://www.talis.com/downloads/white_papers/DoLibrariesMatter.pdf)... And
will be EVEN better when I finish version 2... :-)
