Some ideas I heard at the plagiarism conference....
All students could be asked to keep their draft work, and could be asked to
present it orally at a later date.
Asking students to talk about how they have develop their work could be
included as part of the assessment process (so that it's not just a method
used for 'suspicious' cases). This would make it part of the educational /
normal process. I guess the issue of the time it would take to talk to all
students about assignments might make this something that is impractical?
