Hi,
Due to recent postage changes we are now printing our notices from Millennium using a different printer. Most of our notices go via email, but for those users without email and also for bills we have to send a printed notice.
We have found that we cannot get the £ sign to print out correctly. (To be honest we would prefer if it simply wasn't there at all like in Innopac). I have tried looking at various documentation. I have tried with an HP deskjet 5500 and an HP laserjet 5MP and when selecting printer format have tried the following diacritic mappings: none, HP laserjet, ISO latin 1, Unicode. This has given different results, but not the one I was looking for.
Does anyone have a solution? I realise I might simply need a different printer, but it would be useful to know what works before buying one and then finding it doesn't. I've had a call open on this for a few weeks now, but no suggestions are forthcoming, so I thought I would try asking other colleagues.
Thanks,
Diane
