But not quite! See BCP-1662, p. 590:
(said by the Archbishop)
"Brother, forasmuch as the holy Scripture and the ancient Canons command . .
.."
Consequently, lex orandi, lex credendi, the Church of England is still
_subject_ to the Corpus Juris Canonici, despite the fact that it is in total
disobedience to them.
One of the reasons why the Anglican Catholic Church replaced the former
Anglican Communion, almost 30 years ago. The present "Lambeth Communion" is
still calling itself "Anglican," however. It may obtain that the Anglican
Continuum may be looking to Nigeria, and forgetting about Canterbury.
