If we're looking at the text rather than its prehistory, Luke 6:16 describes
Jude the Apostle as the son of James, while author of the Letter of Jude
describes himself as the brother of James. Furthermore, Jude 17-19 appears
to suggest that Jude was not an Apostle, but was repeating some of their
teachings. Doesn't this constitute an ounce of evidence that they were not
the same person?
