The first talk in the new 'Maps and Society' season takes place tomorrow

Dr Jacinta Prunty (Department of Modern History, National University of
Ireland, Maynooth / Research Fellow, Irish Research Council for the
Humanities and Social Sciences) 'The Military Imperative for Town Mapping:
Galway City, Ireland, 1580s to 1740s'.
Meetings are held on selected Thursdays at The Warburg Institute, University
of London,Woburn Square, London WC1H OAB at 5.00 pm. Admission is free.
