I wasn't judging *you* per se as opposed to your statement in defense of "inclusive" academia,
which is a bit different thing.

In other words, aspects of academia can be inclusive as can big business for racial
minorities or sports competition for disabled people, etc. Does that negate my
argument about the general picture of academia? The point wasn't meant as a
absolute -- most statements aren't; It;s a a general statement of truth.
If I'm wrong -- How am I wrong?
I am disabled and I am considered

Relative to the rest of the population,
It's a sanctuary for the middle class and wealthy. Very few people of lower socio-
economic status make it to university, fewer graduate, and even fewer go on to
obtain a master's and an infinitesimal amount, PhDs. And as far as people outside
the academic environment having access to its resources (e.g., dept facilities,
libraries, journal articles)...If this happens at all, it's mainly as research subjects.
I repeat

Certainly. But I wasn't seeking your approval on this - I am a making a statement
about academia which I feel accurately relects that environment.
If you have a counter argument, present it. So far I've seen mostly your value
judgement
How about constructive dialogue?<<<<
How about you look in the mirror?

Is this your constructive dialogue?
