medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Call for papers on Medieval Theology and Biblical Exegesis.
International Medieval Congress, Leeds, 10-13 July, 2006
Although each IMC has a specific theme (the theme for 2006 will be ‘emotion
and gesture’), general papers that fall outside this theme are also
accepted. We want to especially encourage you to submit papers for the
strand ‘theology and biblical exegesis’. We invite both individual papers
and complete session proposals.
Submissions can be made by using the submission form, available at
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/imi/imc/imc2006/imc2006.htm
The deadline for individual submissions is August 31, for complete sessions
30 September, 2005.
Note: Luciana Cuppo is organizing a session on ‘Reception and appropriation
of Eastern Biblical Exegesis in the West’, and Ann Matter is organizing a
session on Haimo of Auxerre. Please contact them dircetly (at,
respectively, [log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask]) if you want
to submit a paper for these sessions.
If you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact me at
