Dear List,
A Job opportunity. Please pass on to colleagues you feel may be interested.
The ThamesPilot website offers a rich history of the River Thames from
source to sea. The website is provided by the ThamesPilot partnership made
up of archives and museums and other organisations along the length of the
River Thames, who have made available images and documents freely from their
collections, with support from the Big Lottery Fund.
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead's Library and Information
Service is the lead authority within the partnership.
We are looking for a dynamic person to act as Thames Pilot Project Officer,
to work on existing digital content, to develop Thames Pilot, and develop a
sustainable service for existing and future customers.

research marketing options for promoting the ThamesPilot website, and
undertake promotional activities identified in a professional manner.
You may be required to negotiate with external heritage organisations for

the project. You will produce regular reports based on the evidence of
uptake of marketing initiatives undertaken, and business case analyses made,

service management, or project/business management, who is able to
demonstrate a proven ability to undertake business case analysis.
