I'm interested in hearing from any authorities with experience, good or bad,
of using subject categories to arrange Adult Non-Fiction. I'd be keen to
hear your experiences - particularly in the following areas, but anything
else you have to add would also be useful.
What effect has it had on use? What sort of feedback have you had from
customers? Have you applied it differently in different sizes of library? If
you use subject categories, do you still use dewey, or do you use a
combination of both? Which categories work and which don't?
I'd be grateful for any feedback, and would be happy to summarise responses
for the list.
Many thanks
