That sounds suspiciously like the very old story about a gypsy family who
brought a child for christening. "What is the child's name?" said the
vicar. "Please sir, 'Beelzebub'!" "Nonsense," said the vicar, "I baptise
you 'John' ". He met the group again a few months later. "And how is that
little boy I baptised?" "Beg your pardon, sir - but it's a little girl!"
